This is a tiny tip that was recently shared with me by Rich at Fanshawe.  Its so easy and so useful, I wanted to share it for those that may be unaware of this little trick.  Whenever you would like to insert a link to a website in a document or email, just type Control K and it opens the link box to add the url.  I have used it 3 times today and I just learned the tip this morning!  Thank you Rich for passing along this little tip : ) See below for more information.

When you press Ctrl + K, it opens the Insert Hyperlink dialog box. This allows you to:

      • Link to a website (e.g., https://www.microsoft.com)
      • Link to an email address
      • Link to a file or document
      • Link to a specific place in the current document (like a heading or bookmark)

      📝 How to Use It

      1. Highlight the text you want to turn into a hyperlink.
      2. Press Ctrl + K.
      3. In the dialog box:
        • Type or paste the URL in the Address field.
        • Click OK.

The selected text will now be clickable and will open the link you specified.
